Mark Bridges is a 39−year−old teacher, married with an active toddler and another on the way. He is an experienced teacher with a BA and Teaching Dip from Auckland University, who has served on various school, church and Community Boards. After working overseas in remote places such as the Falkland Islands, Mark returned to New Zealand in 2007 and was recruited as a West Auckland Principal. Mark and his wife are life−long Westies so the decision to raise our family here was a simple one. They want to see a Waitakere that is family−focused, safe and full of opportunity for the next generation − a place where they can thrive and grow. He will serve you by working to ensure that you the ratepayer gets value for money and is protected from unreasonable bureaucratic interference. Please vote for Marie Hasler and Mark Brickell and all the Citizens & Ratepayers candidates.
