Resident of Birkenhead for 38 years and Current Trustee (2004 − 2010) Instrumental in the purchase of the Slipp Inn premises in Highbury and last year the Inn Field Bar in Glenfield. This ensured the gaming funds are distributed into our local area for the benefit of our residents and community. The returns in Grants this term have totaled 1.3 Million with $700,000 distributed last year alone. My involvement and the trust has seen a business approach taken to ensure the Licensing trust remains in a healthy financial state, especially in the current economic climate. The current trustees work well together as a board. As a Justice of the Peace, and Marriage and Civil Celebrant I am extensively involved in the community. I always represent local views fairly and as a former councillor and community board member strongly understand and love the community I live in.
