I seek your support for my re−election to the Kaimai Ward of council. I offer you my considerable experience and the ability to listen to what you want. The major issues I will address are roading, rates, and ensuring that the rural community does not get forgotten. I'll work co−operatively with Tauranga City to ensure our region prospers. I have already set up the Ngamuwahine Care Group and helped establish the McLaren Falls Environmental Enhancement Group. I have helped achieve local roading upgrades and funding for community groups. I will ensure the 'grader blade is upgraded and I want to join the Omokoroa Community Board. I have the knowledge and experience to contribute real value to our region from Waihi Beach through to Maketu. Vote for me for sound thinking and logical answers. My intention is not to feather my nest, but to make a positive contribution to our community.

Thanks for the question-- I am very concerned that the rural community who pay so much in rates have not had a better service on roads and the last road maintenance .contract has seen a significant change in this, and I am in favor of this continuing, if at all possible. Naturally one will listen and encourage the staff to do the homework necessary to ensure the community gets the best value for the dollars spent.
Regards Margaret
