Greetings, fakalofa lahi atu. My name is Manogi, mostly known as Nogi. I'm of Niuean descent and a long time resident of Manurewa, married with 6 children and 11 grandchildren. My community involvement in the past years is an ongoing process. I volunteered in the churches for 16 years, continue to support families within the wider community. I was a member of local schools' boards of trustees, a founding member of Clendon Residents Group, a Trustee in the Manukau Beautification Charitable Trust for 7 years, a Counties Manukau Police Nominated Persons− Youth, I'm an elected representative in the Pacific Island Advisory Committee in the Manukau Council. I oppose the privatisation of Council owned assets. I would like to keep our community swimming pools, parks and libraries free. Manurewa is my home and I would promote effective ways to keep Manurewa a safer, secure place to live and raise our children.
