You deserve an effective Council, and fair rating policies that deliver value for money, I will work to ensure that rates are equitably spent across the greater Auckland area. To date, the only 'major' projects being contemplated, lie within the CBD area. Our communities must not be ignored to build big projects in Central Auckland. For Auckland to progress in the future, Council must work cooperatively to build prosperity for all our communities. Good planning is the basis of a great city and as a first term Manukau Councillor, I have worked to ensure the future development of the city to a high standard of urban design. I have also resolved a number of long outstanding Council matters in my community. A lawyer by training, with particular interests in ethics and professional standards, I will work full time as your Councillor if elected.
