I have lived, loved and worked in this district all of my life, as have my children, parents and grandparents. I love my community I am a landowner, a parent, a farmer, a conservationist and an advocate for sustainable development while ensuring the protection of our natural and cultural heritage and rural environment. I am an honest and compassionate person that believes in the integrity of ones decisions and being accountable to my community. I believe I have and continue to make a difference in people's lives and the environment they live in. I have had an extensive history in local government including Community Board and Council experience. I have a good understanding of the issues and the challenges facing our rural and urban communities. I have successfully achieved the Ministry for the Environment Certificate 'Making Good Decisions' and work hard to progress projects forward through determination and resolution.
