33−year−old Leila Boyle lives in Mt Wellington. She has been an Auckland City Councilor and Tamaki Community Board member for the past six years and a Mt Wellington Licensing Trust member for the past three years. Leila teaches statistics part−time at The University of Auckland, is active in Panmure, Glen Innes and Riverside community networks and is on the Tamaki Recreation Centre Trust. "It is vital for our community to have experienced and effective representatives − elect the whole Labour team so Tamaki has a strong voice. We're committed to ensuring that Tamaki has a local service centre and improving the quality of our parks and reserves. I support the Auckland Manukau Eastern Transport Initiative (AMETI) only if it eliminates the Panmure Roundabout while reducing 'rat running' through our community and ensuring local access to the Panmure Town Centre and Lagoon. Please vote for all Labour and City Vision candidates."
