A passionate Hibiscus Coast resident for 24 years, I have been actively involved with local Council in all aspects of planning for the past 10 years. Currently employed as Operations Manager for the Orewa Beach business association which was established to conserve, promote, advance and maintain business, commercial, industrial and community interests in the area. A strong sense of community; I have served on local school boards and currently assist many clubs and organisations in establishing free local community events. Married and have two fantastic children. I am a keen sports person who loves the outdoors, our natural coast and native environment. As a community I believe we need to be strong and vocally heard to ensure that the HBC remains a safe place to raise children, protect our environment and ensure that we get a fair allocation of services within the new Auckland Council.
