I have lived in Ohakune for the past 15 years with my husband Uwe and we have 3 children aged 10 to 17 years. I'm passionate about our Waimarino−Waiouru Ward and want to ensure it's an exciting and prosperous place to live, now and in the future. At the same time this needs to be affordable for everybody.

Council needs to go back to basics and concentrate on core business. I have 15 years of leadership experience through running and owning a successful business that relies on teamwork, prudent financial management and creative thinking to succeed. In the past I have been involved in many community organisations and have also been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Ohakune Primary School. I am committed to make the southern voice heard in Taumarunui and I will listen, ask the right questions and will work hard for you.
