A safe pair of hands

 Kevin Rose has lived and worked in Hawke’s Bay his whole life. He has represented the Hastings Constituency of the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council since 1998 and is chairman of the Council’s Asset Management and Biosecurity Committee. Kevin has a background in farming and fruitgrowing and he and his wife Jillian farm a small horticultural property near Hastings. Kevin is actively involved in community and church affairs and serves as a Justice of the Peace.

  1. Council infrastructure - Kevin is a strong advocate for Council assets remaining in public ownership, such as the Port of Napier. He is not prepared to put at risk the assets of Council which have been built up by the people of Hawke’s Bay over generations.
