I am a businessman, resident and ratepayer based increasingly in the district over the past 13 years. My background is as a chartered accountant for 35 years and I currently own and operate a large, successful national retail franchise group. I am an active sportsman and keen to develop activities, facilities and events which will further engage visitors to the Lakes region.

If elected I will bring a fresh outlook to the Council, utilising my business skills and experience and my love for this region. I believe it is important to see the Council operations managed as a proper business model and the Council fully accountable and transparent to all stakeholders on all issues.

I see the management of future growth within our means and resources, as one of the critical issues facing the community in the next three years.
