Married with a teenage family, I actively served on council 2002 to 2005. Always one to debate the difficult issues for the residents and rate payers of the district. 

Supported and endorsed the nomination of Harry Duynhoven as mayoral candidate. Vocally opposed the Powerco sale during my previous term. Support full accountability and transparency of issues concerning rate payers and the district. 

Local businessman, and a qualified Craftsman Plumber, with both business and local government political experience. Enthusiastically and objectively research items up for debate. Ready to serve the district after a few years break.
