From a strong community focused family, I'm standing as someone prepared to listen to constituents, to address community betterment, advance Ashburton's vitality, and offer sensible common sense governance. With a broad background of experience embracing years of farming, retailing and commercial business in Ashburton and district, I offer honest, sincere, considered leadership applied through logical solutions to local development and requirement.   Flip flops and back tracks by Council on major decisions in recent times is one mark of flawed procedure. A stance of Executive mandate to Councillors is sham process, and must be changed. Council is at a crossroads and it must return to more openly consultative governance.   I'm single-mindedly committed to this district and its people.
