I am standing for re−election for a fourth term because:
Our ward and City has made significant progress over the last few years, particularly under the leadership of Chief Executive Roger Blakeley.
The Labour team from our ward, Henry Smith and myself, are committed to continuing the development of our City.
The issues that need to be addressed are the choking of our City through the lack of an effective traffic system, the extension of village planning to include economic renewal of Whitehouse Road and Mungavin Avenue retail areas and the Elsdon Industrial Estate.
The solutions to these problems need to be included as part of a wider economic stimulation for Porirua.
