I am happily married to Paul and blessed with a blended family of seven children, five grandchildren, a golden retriever and Triumph Daytona motorcycle to get away once in a while.My commitment goes back many years through involvement in Anti Graffiti setup, community committees, sports, schools, Rotary, Probus, U3A, Parent aid, RSA, Bowling club. I am privileged to have had 15 years Community Board experience and 17 years as a Hospice Homecare Volunteer which certainly helps balance out the politics. Concerns about our city's future, with a lack of accountability, council officers and consultants making decisions without community consultation, water and wastewater costs, safety and security and knowing the effects policies and costs can have on residents who feel they do not have a voice, is the reason I am again asking for your support for Local Community Independents/ Whau_Now.
