There are far too many alcohol and gambling facilities in Manurewa, yet this trust is one of the many who is accountable to its community. Alcohol is also a major contributor to violence in the home and gambling is another. If this is one of the key destroyers, then when elected, I will ensure that more investment be put into fixing this problem. Hi I'm Katarina Komene and I'm pleased to be part of the Manurewa Citizens on Patrol team. We have seen the march and increasing support for management of this issue. As a resident I see the damage that alcohol and gambling does to our families and I want to help reduce it. Our team also want s to see why in 2009 and 2010 the Wiri Licensing Trust made a loss of $849k and $1m respectively. Please vote wisely and Vote Manurewa Citizens on Patrol Team.
