June says “I am standing for the Upper Harbour Board because this growing area needs a strong voice. My policy is ‘Ratepayers First’ and I will support consultation with residents, community and business organisations on local initiatives and spending priorities. Our Local Board must be an empowered and vital part of the new Auckland City and I would appreciate your vote to represent you.”
WAITEMATA DISTRICT HEALTH BOARD
As a former Director of Waitemata Health and Chair of Three Harbours Health Foundation (North Shore/Waitakere) June is experienced in health sector governance and the need to provide quality healthcare for all residents and all generations. Having served as a Waitakere City Councillor, Community Board member and on Social Welfare Benefit Review Committee, June has a wide understanding of community needs and expectations.
Waitemata continues to grow rapidly. Future focus needs to be on providing a high quality environment for staff and patients along with a first class, well managed and productive service. Our Board must continue to fight for a fair distribution of funds to progress emergency services and maintain high levels of staffing and support. Our dedicated staff and patients deserve nothing less. I am committed to ensuring that Waitemata Board continues to “Make a Healthy Difference.”

Conflicts of Interest
To the best of my knowledge and belief, I have no conflicts of interest with the Waitemata District Health Board at the date of my notice of consent to being nominated as a candidate for membership for the board of the District Health Board, and I do not believe that any such conflicts of interest are likely to arise in future.

Dear Dr Imran
As a candidate, and not a sitting member of the Board, I do not have background information to your current dispute or negotiations with the DHB.
Citizens and Ratepayers Health Policy is to focus on \"strengthening and retaining the health workforce\" and gauge progress in \"workforce retention rates.\"
Please be assured of my support for those goals.
Kind regards
June Kearney
