Married to John and have farmed at Tirohia for 27 years.

I am a JP, mother grandmother, pilot and have a background as a dental therapist.

Having been a councillor and chair of the Paeroa Ward for the past 6 years I believe I have made a positive contribution to the Hauraki District and in particular Paeroa.  I have a passion for libraries and landscaping which contributes to my council portfolio of Community Facilities.

I have enjoyed being part of the positive progress in Paeroa – we have a safer community, an award winning town centre and have doubled the numbers using the information centre.

As the HDC representative on Tourism Coromandel Board and having travelled widely I am committed to new tourism initiatives to bring economic benefits to the region.  This district has an exciting future and I am keen to represent the community through hard work and commitment.
