Josephine Bartley, is Samoan, lives in Point England, and is a community leader across many groups. She has Arts and Laws degrees from the University of Auckland and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the High Court of New Zealand. She currently works as a consumer rights advisor. Josephine chairs Ka Mau Te Wero (Glen Innes Stronger Communities) Trust, is on the board of a national women's advocacy group and is a member of a Government advisory committee working on increasing cancer screening in Pacific peoples.
