18 year old Joseph is a new and passionate candidate who sees the tremendous potential that exists in Devonport and Takapuna as well as the potential for the younger generation to contribute to a future vision.

As Deputy Head Boy and the Student Trustee of Rosmini College he excells at debating which has seen him named the Russell McVeagh Auckland Secondary School's Development Tournament's Best Speaker and has been a long standing member of the Shore Youth Council, Shore Youth Bank and recently appointed Chairman of Youthfund while also serving as youth representative on two Community Boards where his views have been influential.

Joseph wants the new Local Board to take full advantage of this new opportunity to shape the community’s aspirations for the future. He see's untapped potential in the entire region and especially in the younger generation and in building up a community they feel comfortable and included in.

He will bring fresh energy and a youthful perspective to ensure the local community planning includes the views of younger citizens.

Lets do it! Lets try something new.

Lake Road cycle lanes - should they stay or go?

Stay. They were a pain to put in, but are used and reflect good future alternative sustainable transport.
