Unity. Transparency. Integrity. Three things that I represent both as a person and as a council candidate. I am heavily involved with council affairs and community groups. I believe that I can bring a fresh face to council and a grassroots perspective to the decision making process. With council projects developing and taking place behind the public's back, I want to unbundle the secrecy of council and show the rate payer where their money is going. I also believe it is important that the community has a voice towards decisions and an opinion on where their rates are being spent. Not only that, I want to see more money in the pockets of Dunedin residents. A vote for me is a vote you can rely on and know that I will deliver on my promises. It's time for change. Let's all be heard together. Community VISION - there is an alternative.

Top 5 Issues

  1. Reviewing the Consultation and Decision making Process
  2. Lobby public transport back to a DCC level and increase both desirability and attractiveness of the services by a comprehensive review of the system.
  3. Cut council debt by saving revenue and only spending on necessity goods and services to keep the city functioning.
  4. Stimulate the city and reach its potential by creating a more desirable and prospective city with specialist jobs for new graduands.
  5. Unbundling council expenditure and making council activities more transparent for both the ratepayer and the media.
