Conflicts of Interest
Nil disclosed

I care about my fellow Cantabrians and will use my experience to ensure the CDHB provides top quality care and accessible services across Canterbury including the rural areas, which are feeling vulnerable since the recent withdrawal of 24 hour GP coverage in Rangiora and Kaiapoi and the proposed loss of surgical services in Ashburton.

I live in Rangiora and have company management experience, six years experience as a successful Director of two nationwide entities, Transit and Lotteries Commission, each with turnover exceeding $750 million. Six years as MP on the Finance and Expenditure Committee has given me a good working knowledge of public finance and policy.

My goal if elected is to ensure that medical and mental health costs are not pushed on to the sick, injured and vulnerable.

I have the skills needed, I care, and I want to help. I need your vote

Conflicts of Interest

To the best of my knowledge and belief I have no conflicts of interest with the Canterbury District Health Board at the date of my consent to being nominated as a candidate for membership of the board of the DHB, and I do not believe that any such conflicts of interest will arise in future
