I have worked hard over the last three years to achieve the following: Great range of Events and sporting contests, New Indoor Stadium, Basin Reserve upgrade, Nairnville Park artificial playing surface, Karori Park upgrade, Khandallah Hall upgrade, New Khandallah community centre, Khandallah Village upgrade, New "learn to swim" opportunities, Sportsfield strategy to introduce new artificial playing surfaces, Liesure cards for seniors, Rugby World Cup preparations.

I strongly support a thriving business environment.

I strongly support sport and recreation opportunities for all.

Council must get the basics right. We must protect and value our environment and our heritage. We must control rates, cut costs, spend wisely and govern with integrity.

I remain committed to caring for both the individual and the community and to the continued progress and wellbeing of our great city.

Personal Profile

I was born in Wellington, grew up in Ngaio and have resided most of my life in Ngaio, Karori and Khandallah, currently living in Lohia Street.

I am married to Pauline and have three grown up children and three very young grandchildren.

I have represented New Zealand at cricket over a ten year span (1973-83). Played for,  captained, coached and selected Wellington cricket teams over an eighteen year period.

I have been involved in media, having my own radio show for a number of years along with many sport commentary and critiquing roles with television and radio for the past 35 years

I have my own marketing company Morrison Sporting Agencies which has been principally involved in marketing with a particular emphasis on Sporting organisations

I have been on Council for four terms and currently hold the portfolios of Events and Economy, Sport and Recreation. I am a Westpac Stadium Trustee and Basin Reserve Trustee

In 2009 I was awarded a Queens honour MNZM (Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit) for my contribution to the community and cricket
