I'm a self-employed businessman who has completed the equivalent of business management through the Defence Department. I've been New Zealand's representative for welfare with United Nations Forces and addressed audiences of over 1000 multi−nations. I have been in the company of political dignitaries from all over the world and have been decorated for services. Additionally I've administered, conducted national security crisis exercises involving emergency agencies, Armed Forces, Air NZ and central government. 

I have a passion for local government politics, the last three years as your highest polling councillor. I serve on seven Council Committees and have a sound working knowledge of Council. I've visited other councils throughout New Zealand and observed how they conduct business, giving me added knowledge, experience and fresh ideas. I have a national profile with contacts in national media and central government.
