I have run my own business in Hamilton for the past eight years providing financial advice to clients throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. 

Prior to that I spent over 25 years as a lawyer in the UK, specialising in wills and trusts. 

I have watched council debt escalate to unprecedented and unsustainable levels and have become concerned to see the slow−death of the central city with more and more businesses forced to close their doors. 

That's why I'm standing with the Rates Control Team. Together our team is committed to keeping your rates down. 

Our team will look for new cost effect ways to rejuvenate the central city, manage roads, address debt and generally ensure every rates dollar is spent more wisely.
