My first term on Council, has been a learning curve. I offer myself for re-election to the Gore Ward.

 

It has been a pleasure to have served on the current Council, restoring unity and respect, thereby regaining a positive image for the Gore District. This has been achieved by Councillors working as a team and accepting decisions favoured by the majority of Councillors.

 

The next term of Council, will be important for our district. It is imperative that the upgrading of utility services continues, to meet the demands of both ratepayers, and the industries that are proposed for this area. These commercial enterprises will bring new families to our district, both during construction and when fully operational, and should help to reverse the district trend of a declining and ageing population.
