• fixing Tristram/Wairau/Target intersections;
• building Beach Haven ferry terminal;
• increasing public transport and cycling routes;
• installing more exercise equipment in parks;
• ensuring youth are at school by day and not loitering at night;
• protecting the environment, bush walks and coastal pohutukawa.

John opposes:

• the Easton Park Parade trial (better options to consider);
• selling off park land and assets;
• user-pays wastewater;
• Highbury high-rise buildings.
