Standing for: Hauraki District Council - Paeroa Ward

A number of people have asked that I stand for Council, which I am happy to do. I am quite well known around Paeroa, having lived in the district for most of my life, apart from being away either overseas or at University.

My interests and life experiences are wide and varied. I have been involved in the tourism industry, education sector, horticulture sector, solid waste contracting and in property.

My wife Melanie and I have seven children and seven grandchildren, many of whom live locally. It is my wish that the Hauraki District remains a great place to raise a family, and becomes a district where more of our young people can find meaningful employment.

If I am fortunate enough to gain your support and your vote I am sure I will be an effective representative on your behalf at Council.
