I've been living in Waitara for the last 30 years, married to Vicki with two adult children. I have just completed six years on the Community Board. 

Seeking re−election I have gained experience and knowledge required to be effective and wanting to continue to have a role in ensuring that progress continues for the future of our town and surrounding districts. As there are still several issues outstanding, the one that affects the community as a whole is the sewage pipeline to New Plymouth, which our community were promised in the 1980s and in 2008, which the council has deferred. 

As a keen sports person I like encouraging people to get out and be active which in return is good for their own health. Quality of life is important to me, as is our district.
