I am Joan Huling and I stand for progressive leadership. I am aware of the need to manage and lead Council business and finances with care during this time of economic uncertainty.
I believe that partnerships are one way to accomplish great things without or with limited increased spending in Gore and Districts. Partnerships between the Council and business, government, community groups and social service agencies help make the community stronger and more resilient. Council cannot do everything alone, however, Council can take a leadership role in getting the jobs done.
Joan Huling has leadership experience working with local community agencies as a board member and is able to help establish new and maintain existing working partnerships.
Joan Huling is committed to the Gore community and its people. I am committed to being available, to listen and to make decisions responsibly. I appreciate your vote.
