I am passionate about health and wellness, it has been my life as a local CEO and the community has benefited - low cost doctors visits, assisting injured staff back to work and new facilities in Turangi. My motto – innovate to succeed. I also bring governance experience - locally with my children’s school, in business as a past Board member of the Rotorua Chamber of Commerce, and nationally within health.

So why Taupo Council? Opportunity – from October I have the time to commit. And platform - I want to ignite Taupo’s soul making it the top town to raise a family/whanau.

I will focus on enhancing the town centre for enjoyment by business and families alike, engaging Ngati Tuwharetoa in sustainable approaches to resource utilisation and creating new opportunities for our kids, youth and whanau as vital contributors to our culture, economy and future.
