I came to Taumarunui to teach in 1975. I have four adult children. I am a registered Naturopath, and business owner, currently completing my first term in local government as a councillor representing the Taumarunui Ward. 

Having represented New Zealand in a number of sports I continue to following both junior and senior sport within our community. . 

I hold the present well being and future development of our Taumarunui Community as a priority. Having a passion for our District and its future, if elected again as a Councillor, I pledge my ongoing accessibility, and to keep the public informed. I support existing and the promotion of new businesses. 

I believe in protecting, while promoting our natural environment thus promoting our town to become an even better place to live, for our future generations. 

To me the Community and their wishes continue to be paramount.
