Jane a long time Manurewa resident is a Manurewa swim coach known regionally for working with children, disabled and mature swimmers. Jane is the mother of six adult children, with Amy a NZ water polo representative and Rees playing rugby for Counties. She is Head Coach of the Manurewa Swimming Club. Jane coaches water polo for youngsters at the Manurewa pool. Jane is standing for the Local Board because she strongly believes in the importance of keeping active through playing sport. It is important for the health and well being of the community to keep fields, courts, and pools free for clubs so that all families can afford for their children to play sport. We need to be proud of success and good education, confident of achieving aspirations whilst enjoying a varied lifestyle with good health and safety. Inside the super city we can be the Super South.
