Wellsford sits at the far North of the new Auckland City. The difference and distance between Rodney street and Queen Street is large. Your local board exists to ensure local views are heard by the Council, however it is a role which has not yet been totally defined. If elected I will provide strong advocacy for your views and the unique needs of Wellsford − a rural area being governed from an urban city. I have recently graduated from university with law and history degrees and am now working as the Restaurant Manger of Wellsford McDonalds. I have grown up in Wellsford and believe it is vital our small town does not get ignored in the new Auckland bureaucracy.
