I am 65yrs married with 6 children, 16 Moko's, 22 Great Grand Children. In all my years of involvement in every kaupapa I would not have been able to achieve without the strength of my wife. My passion for standing is to ensure that we all can live in a clean, happy and healthy environment in regards to land, sea, lakes and air. 

The experience I bring to the table are Health Board in South Auckland, Manukau Community Board, South Auckland Licensing Trust, Chairman South Auckland C.Y.P. Board, Manager Selector Auckland Maori Rugby Union, Chairman of different school board Trustees. 

Came back to Murupara, now presently Chairman NetWork Murupara Board, Board member of Services Citizen Club. Former board member Hou Ora Health, Kaumatua Women Maori Welfare League. Kaumatua on different marae. 

Now Rotorua Police Advisory Board Member. Also The Waiariki Policy Advisory Board. But my ultimate passion is with people.
