I am standing for the local board because I believe I can deliver what is needed for our community, a strong leadership style and a hard driving approach to deliver on a wide range of issues. I support controlled development and understand that there needs to be a fair balance between the environment and peoples rights. The super city is a whole new ball game with many unknowns. It will be the strength and ability of your local elected members that will make sure that the Waitakere community gets what it is entitled to. I am ready to meet those challenges in supporting of our community. I am 55 years old, I live in Oratia, I have a proven track record in community projects and have experience in local body politics.
