Ivan Dunn: If you're looking for a candidate with experience, energy and integrity, I'm your candidate. As a Resource Management Act hearings commissioner, JP, former crusading North Shore Times Editor and 2004−7 city councillor and Takapuna Community Board member I know how to ask the tough questions, and these are tough times. Super City is here but its development should not be at the cost of the high standards of the infrastructure, services, environment, facilities and lifestyle your rates have already provided. With your support I will be fighting for a fair deal for the Shore. I have also represented you on Local Government New Zealand, Auckland Civil Defence management committee and North Shore Events Centre. A Shore resident for 34 years, I am also a former Westlake Boys High Board of Trustees member and a new member of Grey Power. Representing you is not a job for beginners.

Conflicts of Interest
To the best of my knowledge and belief, I have no conflicts of interest with the Waitemata District Health Board at the date of my notice of consent to being nominated as a candidate for membership for the board of the District Health Board, and I do not believe that any such conflicts of interest are likely to arise in future.
