Candidate Statement:

 

I have been privileged to represent the Patea Ward on Council for the last three terms.   Patea Community Board for three terms beginning in 1995. I am currently Chair of the Environment & Hearings Committee, member of the Finance Portfolio Group, Iwi Liason Committee and Personnel Committee.

The majority of my community interests continue to be in the Patea area.

It is always my aim to give fair and effective representation on behalf of the Patea Ward on Council along with consideration of the overall benefit to South Taranaki. I will continue to support community driven projects that have genuine and lasting benefits for residents of South Taranaki conditional on the project not having a detrimental effect on the affordability of rates that you pay.

I seek your support to continue representing the Patea / Waverley area on Council to  advocate for, and promote the interests of Patea Ward residents.
