Ian is married to Glenis with 3 adult children and have lived in Papatoetoe for 42 years. He is deputy chair of the Papatoetoe Community Board, a Justice of the Peace and former Councillor and is involved in many Sports, Trusts and Community Organisations. Through business and Community Board experience Ian will continue to support residents concerns on crime and public safety. He will advocate for the removal of street Prostitution and Graffiti together with problems relating to Truancy to create a desirable Place to live and work. Issues which relate to family values, encourage positive Parenting skills and the reduction of family violence will continue to receive his support His vision of Papatoetoe is a community where Law and Order is maintained, Commercial centres clean and attractive and meet the communities needs. Residents are safe and roads footpaths and Public Services are fully maintained Help him make it happen.
