Hugo Percy has huge passion and enthusiasm for Hamilton. He recognises the city's needs and the opportunity to use his business experience to help our city prosper. 

Former chairman of Keep Hamilton Beautiful (focussing on anti−tagging initiatives), Hugo received the Civic Award for his environmental achievements in 1999. 

Hugo is an event organiser and created Waikato's boat show at Claudelands in 1996. He is current member of Musikmakers and maintains a keen interest in many community events. 

Hugo sees immense promise in the city's future. He recognises Hamilton's need for greater city pride, an increased sense of neighbourhood ownership and improved safety in our community. 

As a Hamilton City Councillor Hugo will work to keep rates down, reduce the escalating city debt, support transparent decision making and ensure consultation with neighbourhood groups. 

Hamilton is a great place to live and with the right Council we can make it even better.
