My family has lived in Papakura for over fifty years, spanning four generations. My siblings and I were educated locally, as were my children, and I am a past BOT member of Kelvin Road Primary and Papakura Intermediate Schools. I have been involved with Papakura Marae for over twenty years, and have a working knowledge of the community and the people who live in it. This involvement has fostered a passion to help people help themselves. I listen without making judgements; I can lend a hand when needed; Let's get back to basics; Let's cultivate gardens and share the produce; Let's cultivate family relationships and enjoy the harvest of safe communities. Let's promote Papakura as an excellent community to raise a family in.
