Personal Profile

I am energetic in my early fifties, a graduate in accounting and Economics from The University of the South Pacific. In New Zealand I have worked in farms, taught in schools and worked in various retail outlets. Currently I am the Director of Alert Barbers Ltd and managing my tax agency in Sandringham and Balmoral. I reside in Mt Roskill, with my wife, son and a daughter. My major strengths are honesty, reliability and willing to do extra work ensuring accuracy is maintained and deadlines are met. I respect every individual and serve them as the Justice of Peace, New Zealand. As a board member I believe that views of every citizen regarding environment, transportation, parking and social issues of people are to be heard. I will strive to set up a good channel of communication which will carry our views from us to the decision making board. Hari Shankar
