Hamish wants local democracy to thrive in Auckland and believes that the new city represents a terrific opportunity for Howick to take back local decision making on matters that affect our communities.
We need a united team to preserve Howick’s heritage. Please vote for Hamish Stevens for the Howick Local Board and the Counties Manukau District Health Board.

Hamish will ensure the allocation of CMDHB’s $1billion p.a. government funding to all parts of the community based on need.
Please rank Hamish Stevens and the Citizens & Ratepayers Health Board Team from 1 to 7.
Top 5 Issues
- Howick Local Board - Keeping rates under control and reduce debt. Do we really need to own Auckland airport shares?
District Health Board - Keep emergency department waiting times down. - Howick Local Board - Protecting Howick's heritage residential zones. We need to ensure that the new Auckland Spatial Plan does not bring a return of the intensification of Howick - Auckland is already more densley populated than Austlralain and US cities.
District Health Board - Improved access to elective surgery. - Howick Local Board - Improving road transport to and from East Auckland. At the last census only 33 Howick residents used train travel in getting to work.
