I joined the Ratepayers Working Group as I believe that the Council needs to reduce costs and debt so we are all happy and proud to be part of the Waitomo District.

For the last six years I have owned and operated Dalziels 100% shop and have enjoyed the Te Kuiti life.

Originally from Havelock North, after finishing school I went into the farm cadet scheme. I then moved to the Waikato to join the dairy industry and after a stint of share−milking was able to achieve my ambition of purchasing a 590 acre farm on the Kawhia Road.

After selling the farm I worked for Livestock Improvement as a District Manager for five years, then progressing to Farm Consultant for Farm Wise covering South Waikato/King Country.

My interests are spending time with my four teenage children, fishing, being involved in the local Fire Brigade, squash and soccer.
