Tena Koutou Katoa, nga mihi whanui atu ki a koutou katoa My name is George Pomana employed by James Cook High School and responsible for Puutake Te Wahanga Maori. My aroha for Manurewa is reflected in long links here. I actively encourage young and mature to be involved in team activities. I chair the Auckland Region Outrigger Canoe Association, the new wave of outrigger canoe racing in Auckland. I am active in other team sports and chaired Counties Manukau Softball Association. With parents, grandparents and older folk from other cultures and ethnicities we have life−long associations. These are immediate skills that I choose to bring to the Wiri Licensing Trust. What the trustees have done is truly inspirational. They want to do it again. They match my passion for making Manurewa great. Your passion inspires us too.
