Dunedin is my home. I have been communicating with the Dunedin public as a taxi driver for 37 years. In my profession I get to talk to ratepayers from all walks of life about our city and the concerns of how it is run. My standing is about the ratepayer, to bring more communication and collaboration between the ratepayers and the Council, with no closed door policies. When elected I will still be driving part time to stay in contact with public opinion, which I feel has been the current Council's down fall. Dunedin needs strong leadership and a vision. Councillors must be accessible to the ratepayers, have integrity and accountability for the decision making processes, which I will pride myself on. Furthermore, by electing me you will get a voice in your city. I hope you will give me the opportunity to represent you.
