Sitting Chair New Lynn Community Board, 9yrs on the Board. Serving on a local Community Board has brought the needs of our communities very much into the foreground of my thinking. I will work with and for the community for the best outcomes. Continuity of knowledge will be needed if the new Auckland Council is to succeed and Local Boards play a major roll in that. Accountability is a must, fairer rates and social and economic values managed responsibly, all ages are included and consulted on the needs for the area. Maintenance of our parks, reserves beaches, foothpaths and community facilities. Infrastructure and more. Graffiti and crime remains a high priority Mother and Wife. Marriage and funeral Celebrant. Chair Parent Aid, Chair Waitakere Christmas Festival, Secretary Glen Eden Protection Society, Kelston Community Trust, Committee Glen Eden and Titirangi Community Houses.
