I have been a democratically elected councillor for the Hibiscus Coast for 11 years. Thanks to you, that makes me one of the longest standing councillors. I have also served as a commissioner on the Hearings Panel under the Resource Management Act, Chairperson of the Environment and Community Committee and currently the Chairperson of the District Plan and Regulatory Committee. I have been involved in various community groups, schools, sports club and local theatre. My family has lived in the Hibiscus Coast for 17 years and love our beautiful coast lifestyle. I have effective communication skills and the experience to advocate for you. I look forward to the new challenge of being part of the new super city for you.
