I am proud to be from Porirua, raised in Cannons Creek, Waitangirua and Ascot Park. My family have lived in Porirua for over 35 years and beginning with my parents, third and fourth generations are now raised here. I'm running for council because I love Porirua. I want to do what's best for our city by helping make decisions in council that will promote more opportunities for our city. I'm interested in seeing economic growth in the city, providing opportunities for all of us, especially our young people. I am keen on supporting initiatives that will help develop confidence in the rising generation, our young people to encourage them to pursue education and sustainable employment. I am also strongly in favour of initiatives that will help and support our families in the community.
