Ella is a New Zealand born Indian, married to a supportive husband, they have 3 wonderful children and live within Roskill area and have for the last 23 years. 

 

She is passionate about her career in Physical Health and Wellbeing as an Educator/ Instructor assisting the Roskill community to lead a healthier lifestyle.   

Ella has strong commitments towards all communities, her current involvement varies from Marriage Celebrant, Board of Trustees member: Mt Roskill Campus Schools 11 years, Justice of Peace serving the needs of the community, Chairperson: Mt Roskill Junior Sports Academy.     Board/Committee member: Shanti Niwas Charitable Trust, NZ Athia Trust Society, Auckland Indian Association.

Local community board representatives are voices of all communities with a vision to make Roskill an affordable and a safe environmental place.

She hopes to be elected for” Puketapapa” local board,

FAMILY: I have a loving supportive husband, we have been married 23 years, we have 3 wonderful children 2 girls and 1 boy.  My parents and brothers and sisters with extended family members all support me 100% with any of my activites. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor in Sports (coaching) Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer Instructor, Strength Training and Conditioning, Post Graduate papers completed in Enhancing Muscular Performance, Nutrition and Health Promotion, Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology, Pilates Registered Exercise Instructor.

SPECIALISATION: All styles of group fitness classes, individual personalised programmes, sports nutrition, special populations, component training.

INTEREST AND ACTIVITIES:  My interest and experience in the fitness industry comes to you with 21 years of experience in health promotion education, Aerobics, dancing, running and community event organiser. I have a great passion working with communities and creating opportunities for all. I enjoy serving the community as a Justice of the Peace of New Zealand and also a Marriage Celebrant.
